U.S. Soccer reveals first 25 clubs for Girls’ Development Academy
U.S. Soccer has announced the first 25 clubs that will be a part of the Girls’ Development Academy, an initiative designed to accelerate the development of world-class female players that will begin play in the fall of 2017.

U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team roster named for camp at OTC
The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team will come together for a 10-day training camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., running from July 6-15 as U.S. head coach Michelle French and the squad continue preparations for the 2016 Women’s World Cup being held in Papua New Guinea from Nov. 13-Dec. 3.

U.S. U-19 Women’s National Team defeats New Zealand U-20s 4-1
After playing to a wild 4-4 draw with the New Zealand U-20 Women’s National Team on June 17, the U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team scored four goals once again in the rematch, but this time allowed just one to win 4-1 and go unbeaten in all three of its games in New Zealand.

U.S. U-19 Women’s National Team draws New Zealand U-20s 4-4
The U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team went behind early against the New Zealand Under-20 WNT, took back the lead, fell behind again and then roared back to take another lead on what seemed to be a stoppage time game-winner only for the Kiwis to equalize with one of the final touches of the game in a wild 4-4 draw at QBE Stadium.

U.S. U-19 Women’s National Team defeats New Zealand WNT 2-1
The U.S. Under-19 Women’s National Team defeated the New Zealand Women’s National Team 2-1 as forward Marissa Everett scored twice in a four-minute span in the second half to pull the USA level and then ahead.

U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team heads to N.C. for training camp
The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team will come together for a training camp in Efland, North Carolina, running from June 15-23, as U.S. head coach Michelle French has called up 23 players to continue preparations for the 2016 Women’s World Cup being held in Papua New Guinea from Nov. 13-Dec. 3.

U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team wins Nordic Tournament
The U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team drew 1-1 with England in its final game of the U-23 Women’s Nordic Tournament and the result was good enough to give the USA the tournament title on goal difference.

U.S. U-23 WNT defeats Norway 2-1 at Nordic Tournament
The U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team won for the second time in two games at the four-team U-23 Women’s Nordic Tournament, defeating Norway 2-1 on goals from Tyler Lussi and Savannah Jordan.
