OMG! What a Goal! Orlando Pirates’ Thabo Matlaba scores on ridiculously long-range strike [Video Highlights]
Orlando Pirates left back Thabo Matlaba scored his first league goal in the Premier Soccer League on a spectacular long-range strike.
After receiving a ball as he crossed over midfield with no pressure on him, Matlaba dribbled it once, put his head down, and struck a perfect ball that went soaring over the goalkeeper’s head and into the back of the net.
The goal was the eventual game-winner in the Pirates’ 2-0 victory over Bidvest Wits on Saturday, November 24.
